Looked strong so rigged 5.0. Turned out way too small.

Had my contacts in, so I could see the weed clumps, but didnt see the 10 ft length of 6" x 4" just below the surface. Splat!!

Trial Bay, NSW, AU  Windy, windy windy!  Solid westerly in the 20-25 knot class, combined with a good east ground swell added up to kaos. Tony and Garry out too, followed by a fellow from Qld who kicked our ass with 8-10 ft jumps, full planning duck gybes etc- bastard...lol

First decent session on the new RRD FSW, bit of a struggle at first but came good towards the end.

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU Quite a few team members out today including Mark J and Dion from the northern sector. Did alot of walking today. Went out with 7.5 koncept first with 115 Patrik and 22 delta. Wind picked up and was struggling to hold down 7.5 so went in and grabbed 6.6 Koncept 50l Isonic and 18 delta. Got one semi powered run off the breeze and couldn't believe my top speed. Ill take that. Got top speed for that 7.5 rig and board of just over 34 which I was stoked with. Johnny smashed 37 with 7.1 Ka Race and 89 Falcon and 18 Delta. AWESOME MILLER good onya. Froth finally got his new board and yes he was frothin.

Finally got some wind! NW at around 5-25 knots took to red rocket out with the 7.3m switch blade & 20 delta overpowered and underpowered at times. Lots of people out and Dave with his new board.

Well Done Johnny on getting 37 Knots!!! That lead is doing wonders.

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU. Bit of frantic drive to start the session to pick my long awaited new board thanks heaps to Mike, Milsy, Mark and old Pete for helping set it up in a flash. Went great! will take me a while to get sorted but it held so firm in the water, heads up wind heaps better, Stayed on the plan heaps better! Thanks Mark for such a great choice I know it'll fly. Super effort and congrats Milsey, Good to see Matt D not miss a session due to work. God Bless Windsurfing Cut Sick Marauders!!!!

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU - W 15-25 knots. Got there at lunchtime to see quite a few out already. Wow it was blowing.

Rigged my new '13 GPS 6.0 for the first time which took me a while as I have never rigged a race sail before, hmmm....thanks to Matty D for the help. Put it on the Carbon Art SL55 with a 19cm MUF and went out. Wind seemed to be getting a bit puffy but I was planing most of the time. Got a few nice runs but not sure I had the new sail rigged correctly so will "suck it and see". Never really felt fully comfortable with it but guess it will come with time & practice. Reckon I should read the how to rig it manual one day....Plenty of sailors from Marauders and LM there today.

Very gusty , but at least got to sail the 43 wide patrik speed board , awesome feeling when going , just not when the wind drops

well done to all the guys for great speeds in hard conditions
