Was meant to be on a mission with stropp ,doddie and Cj but the wind didnt come to the party until to late morning when we managed to salvage what we could before i had to bail and pick up the boys from mother inlaws.

Good session in the end and really nice to see what else we have to sail.Glad to have CJ out with me as well , its been five months since we have sailed together. Always good to have a happy wife!!!

Got home to find my file had been split for some reason and Sh@ myself thinking i hadn't dont the numbers i thought i had .

With about 45 knots on the dial I thought it would be an awesome time to launch back into my windsurfing career. 5 months off the juice and and I was ready for a large hangover. By the time I had rigged my 5.4, reacquainted myself with the inside outside upside downside down haul, I was ready to go. Due to the sub zero conditions I had decided to dress myself in what can only be descrided as the michelin man get up. (FYI - voted by Time Magazine as one of the top ten creepiest mascots of all time!  I would have to agree) I had decided to take Stroppo's advice and wear some nice little neo preen shoes to match my ensemble and set off.  Tradgedically they felt like wet socks at first but after I had widen my foot straps so that the Big Foot himself could have used them I finally got the hang of it and appreciated the lack of swish between the toes and the warmth it provided (great tip, thanks Stroppo).

After about 5 mins of finding myself again....the wind died..... and I was left to perform a ballet down wind on my way back to shore to rig bigger.  30 mins later, I arrived back on land, only to have the wind fill back in.  So off I went again.  3 runs of building greatness, I decided I was finally ready to for my big bear away.  The water was flat and I was gaining some good momentum, until Newton's third law of Physics decided to teach me a lesson.  I hit a weed patch and needless to say that my forward motion transfered into centripedal force provided by my short harness lines.  This resulted in a dismount that probably would have received a 9.1 if it were an Olympic sport, instead I just received a large lump and bruise on my shin.  Noice.

Anyhow the wind died a bit after that and I threw in the towel.  After I derigged, the breeze came in and was quite nice an consistent.  So you can all thank me for being the sacraficial lamb today.  No prob, my pleasure.

Desperate not to miss out on todays weather i managed a sneaky little session on the Mogul track....I mean the River! Really lumpy and some nice air time ( although not voluntary! ) and a couple of not so flat bear aways but a hell of a lot of fun on a cold monday arvo. Tried to have a few runs with Jesper but failed miserably, although I think he is to thanks for my numbers. Someone to chase is always good incentive

Yeah nice photos Stroppo! I am just going out the back now to give it a scrub with bleach after its adventures this arvo. This is the last place I saw it...you can probably pick out the demented Nanna in the background having swung down from the trees to admire his own 'faded red' kit.

Well Nanna Stropoo has had his backbone nicked by Elmo, so finds himself unable to post any more photos...but if he did you would see the chair has a handy slot in it base through which you can not only use a T bolt to tie to the board, but also use an inverted T bolt to tie yourself to the chair.Brilliant.

Time for you to show some leadership here Cap'n, macrame yours first and be the trend setter...and in a nice piece of team tactics we have filled up the Nannas team post with 90% drivel about chairs and left our own untouched :-)
