Melville - Kode 122, CR 7.0, Drake 38.  A wintery session as I started a bit late.  Could not get the sail to behave with cams popping off and not rotating.  Still a nice day to sail and had a couple drag racing with a friend (I lost).

Shoalwater, WA, AU

Mixed conditions today from sunshine to cloud with rain, wind & no wind, still beats being stuck indoors. Probably had half a dozen out sailing at its peak today with fellow Pinnaroo JJ. Few decent fronts came through bringing 25kn with it but i reckon it averaged 15-17 most of the day, so a bit of pumping going on. Nice to be out on it though.

Shoalwater WA

A couple of windy periods of about 20 mins each (18 knots, with one 25 knot gust), mostly the wind got stuck at about 15 knots.

Two NM attempts and heaps of grovelling back upwind.

A nice place to sail - the swell lines up well with downwind runs. Just needed some proper wind.

Fun to sail with a few locals and Craig. Good to catch up with Stroppo on the beach.

Mistral 112, GPS 7.3, Weedy 34 (too big and draggy when the wind was up)

Sorry I couldn't join you today. I had a day off but I was totally worn out after a long and taxing day at work yesterday.

There was wind and sunshine but I just couldn't muster up the energy to do anything, even go for a sail with my friends.

Cheers Stroppo - great to have a few pix. Shows how light the wind was!

The second and third pic shows the front of the day coming through nicely. From out on the water a man looking a lot like stroppo could be seen imitating Usain bolt doing the sprint for shelter.
