What a beautiful afternoon to be out on the water. Approx 17kn average SSWer with a real summery feel. Very low tide today so had to be a bit careful. Tried out my recently aquired light wind board, Tabou Rocket 135lt which is a very comfortable board for its volume, Im loving it.

Met up with Grumpy who im sure had a nice time too.

Good crew down there today....summers coming!

Perfect conditions in the pond for a cruisy sail today, and the perfect combo to use to ease me back into sailing after a break of a few weeks. Very consistent wind around 16 -18 knots slowly building as the afternoon progressed, perfect direction for blasting up and down the pond, and nice flat water. My aim was to practice gybes today and I continue to make progress. A third best alpha for me today, I am happy with that especially considering my nm was slower! Pepe, two of my top 3 gybes have been using your fin. It is great for gybing!

Just me and Stroppo and a few kiters. Thanks for the company Stroppo!

My first sesh in 5 months and I nailed my first gybeCool. Not much wind but very nice to get out again. Can't wait to get out on something smaller, the 7.8 was hard work.

Lunny was fanging around on his new ship.

Melville - Kode 122, S1 5.3 - slogging time - not enough wind or sail or water.  It was sunny and warm enough though!

Glad you all got out - seems like it was a sweet session. Grumpy good to wash the cobwebs away, I bet Cool

Mark and I had super fun sometimes challenging waves to ourselves at Wedge Island, 18 knots, crystal water - very happy with the early start to summer Laughing

I wish Anita. Unfortunately, I'm on a project and won't have the time this week. Next week though :)
