Hmm, I could get used to this unemployment thing! First sail since early August and I'm going to be sore later. Dammit, I'm sore now. On the water from 11:30

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU

Fun in the sun. Very low water level had me and Pugs grovelling in the shallow super thick weed. Finally worked upwind and realised you could go straight through. Sweet conditions but a bit light at times, very flat water!!!

The small weedy worked a treat in the 99, a pb on this board for me. Just armchair cruising with some fine bearaways to be had. Getting back was fun, had a great run down the edge of the bank and then a smash-a-thon through the channel swell and chop.

Good sail with Johnny, Pugs, Andrew and Matty. Nice not to be cold Laughing

Falcon 99, Evo IV 7.0, 19 custom weedy

Wallis Lake, NSW, AU  SSW 20-25knots

JP 65 Slalom VI, Leading Edge Weed fin 36, NP RSSmkII 6.2

The second session from a ballistic day on Wallis Lake. The sky was blue and the sun was shining but the Wind God was well angry! Spent most of it on shore watching or chewing the fat with guys much better than me & all on smaller gear than I possessed. Always the best to sail with Gabe, Chris and a bunch of the Mauraders Crew and it was worth the effort to get out in the end, even if only for a short while.

Started on a JP 84lt slalom board and 5.4 NP RSR before I got blown off the water. These tracks all on listed gear but still way over done even after the wind backed off (a little) mid arvo.

Nice PB U-turn Larko, looks like you had a good morning session...well done. The weed floating on top can be sailed through just takes a new mind set to go for it. You obviously did that today!!

Good session guys. Well done and congrats on the Alpha PB Larko, and top speed there. Michael, big distance covered on your return sail.  Ads nice to catch up. Looks like you may need some smaller gear to sail up here at Wallis. Smile
