Beachport Surf Beach, S to SE then ESE 15 then 20 to 22 maybe.

JP 92 wave, 30 select weedy, 5.5 then 4.7 ezzy wave.

had a good blast after lunch wind filled in nicely as the first seabreezes are happening here already.

not much swell but some ramps around for a bit of air,

Surprised had too come in early as a huge school of bait fish came in and he was a couple of thousand birds circling and bombing down all around me !!! no kidding it was like a david attenborough film with the birds that bomb and swim under water, realised pretty quickly that there was even bigger shit under the fish so got out of there real quick, Surprised never ever seen nothing like it before..........

tommorrows forcast looks sweet as well but start afternoon shift so will miss the seabreeze.

Stansbury, SA, AU SSE gusty15-30 knots then backed off 10-15

SXs 90, GPS 5.5, BP 23.5 weedy

Todays forecast was for late afternoon strong Southerly. Couldn't wait till then so got there at 4 and headed out on the chop in very gusty southerly. Was hard to settle in but kept at it waiting for the dropping tide to get flatter water. Murphy's law kicked in again with the wind backing off and headed in to avoid the float and balance test. Still it was a solid work out and probably should have come in earlier to change up to a bigger fin cause was under finned in the chop and a lot of sideways action was happening. Lots of short gusts  the whole time making gybing tricky, it's not the southerly we usually get here.

CheersSmile

Boggy Lake, SA, AU

conditions came together today, and had a lot of solid sailing with the regulars.  got lumpy at times, but you could still pick the troughs if you really wanted to keep the hammer down.

Nice cruise at bog today. My first seabreeze for the year and it was fun. Good to catch up with all that went.

Good arvo sesh and as Sam said 1st decent seabreeze this summer - hope for many more Smile...

Great turnout for a Sunday.

Started the day mucking around in the chop with Christian and by the time i started to head up to the flat water the wind dropped a bit Yell.  Usually only takes 1 run but took about 5 and when i got up there luckily still found a couple of decent gusts and got a quick hour in - great funLaughing.

Boggy lake - 15 - 20 knots.

Although any PB is good, I wish it was for something else.  Unless you're talking really big distances, it's just grinding, not necessarily an indicator you're improving.

I was tuned really comfortable y'day, so it was easy to keep on going.  I started out by sailing ~30mins before I stepped off to fine tune, then sailed non-stop for ninety minutes when I finally fell on a weak gybe.  I thought that might get me a PB on my hour, but turns out I was .1 off!

Hey Sam, looks like that corner you told me about was a honking one!  There wasn't a lot of clean water yesterday to do that!  Guess you and Carl sniffed some out!!

Yesterday was the best conditions so far for spring, I'm crossing all my digits hoping it's the promise of a good season.

Thanks Bristol, I seen ya pop up every now and then - glad to hear the Gust Busters are still kicking it (and as we both know...some of your young members are going to be absolute guns in the very near future!).  I still have very fond memories of the camaderie, the inspirational freestylers and those Canberran summer easterlies where I could knock off work and be on the water in about 35 minutes!  Good times!  Say hello to the crew for me.
