Wynnum, QLD, AU

Same gear as I've sailed the last three days. Mistral S137, Bullet 7.0, BP 37.5

High tide, so no flat water. I tried for distance but ran out of energy after 2hrs 40 min.

I thought did a better Alpha, but must have strayed outside the 50m.

Great 4 day break with 3 excellent NEs on Sat, Sun and Mon. Flying back to the Pilbara tonight for a well earned rest!

Last sail for awhile. Tried tuning the Naish 7m better today and it felt pretty good and i acheived forward pull from the sail but yet to feel a good build up pre slingshot like my Lofts. Nice sail to gybe though Laughing. Still unsure of sting v1 32 fin. Either too small a fin or sail not quite right with it. Doesn't seem to wind up coming in for a run and then lets go??? Back to the grind after a few good days sailing.

Wellington Point. 160l JP, 6.7NP, 38cm. Should have gone closer to sandbank as Glynn advised. I thought I went faster and got a PB. Oh well.

Wellington Point, QLD, AU, Falcon 104, Nash Freeride 6.5 and a Viper fin 34cm. Not enough wind for this gear and too rough anyway for me to do any speeds, though I got 30 knots following in the Captains wake down the bar. I don't remember the last time I got over 30, may be last year or the year before. I was trying to get a good gybe, but all my good ones were after downwind runs by bar so I would not have got back upwind in time to make it an alpha.  Good fun and I took enough rests in the water, so I should not be bedridden for two days like I was after Frydays forey.
