Wallis Lake, NSW, AU  No wind, just a light cruise in a dying nor-easter. Was good to meet up with Gabe, Chistine and Rob. And a quick nod to Bill as we crossed paths at 3 knots... You guys have some sweet waterways to sail. Fingers crossed for a good breeze on Sunday.

First try with a seat harness today.  Different!  Next time might try when I'm not grossly overpowered! Smile

Wallis Lake, NSW, AU

Quick little blast before the wind dropped right off. Good crowd, but not much wind. Good to see Byron, Phil, Gary and Pete from the Central coast, plus the usual crew. ENE -NE 15-18k. 104, 38, 6.6.

Good speed Salty! I found it made a huge difference when I replaced my 90's seat harness with a more supportive modern one. I could control larger sails and no more back problems!

I was surprised by the extra leverage Sue! But found that if I allowed myself to get lifted it was very hard to get it back - new ding in nose of board :-( Maybe in cruisier conditions I'll be able to master it better. Just getting sick of waisty ending up around my sternum all the time. Our womanly shapes are not much good for keeping a waisty on your waist!! ;-)

Larry I wish my womanly shape had your muscles..WinkSalty I'm probably suggesting a bad habit here but if I'm overpowered I sailhunkered down really close to the water and if it's gusty get a rear foot in the strap asap even sub planing.Just keep the weight on your front foot. Probably not agood time for a first try out.
