Windsurfing Ninja (13648km): Wellington Point, QLD, AU Sailed Patrik 115, Avanti 6.9 & Nitro38fin Wind was ok to start with - should've had the 7.7 up then it started easing up even more so had a short session. Good to catch up with Glynn
Boombuster (65452km): Wellington Point, QLD, AU Short sail on a dying breeze good to see Dave. JP91 Loft7 BP WS38
phil (49675km): Was going to give sailing a miss today, but went down the train for a quick look. Seen Tony flying up and down so took a few photos then dragged my weary body out for the 4th day in a row. Tempted with the small speed board but just too hard so went out on the 105L CA. Wind did not last long but managed a few runs. CASP60, Blade 6.3, BP 30. The Train, Southport, QLD, AU
Drifter (24647km): Wellington Point, QLD, AU Mistral 137l Naish Bullet 7.0 BP 35mm Having the Queen Mary are your only board has some advantages, you don't have any decisions to make when rigging up, you can have sit down diner parties while sailing across Waterloo Bay and when the wind drops when sailing at Lota Creek you can get home with very little effort. Fasy simon was not so lucky on his 90l excuse for a sailboard. Did you get home Simon? I have to thank you, My last run, which clicked me over the 100km for the day, was to check if you got back to Manly. I saw a red severn sail off the break water at Manly and assumed it was you. The only problem with the Queen Mary, is that although it has all the comforts of home, it doesn't seem to go faster than 29.8kts, well at least when I sail it. How Slowboat can do 38kts, I've got no idea. Lost of fun trying. Happy with the distance and hour PB. Not so happy with the U turn. I managed at least 4 planning gybes today. I must have been outside the 50m. So frustrating. May hands are a mess, my arms and leg muscles are jelly, however in the words of the Bard from Mandura - A top ten day!
Tony (35950km): Geez didnt realise the paparazzi was out, looks bumpy. Spewin had a 37 on the dial so got smashed on the 2 sec. Good fun sail. Marine Parade, Southport, QLD, AU
Chriso (16989km): A wee bit light then died.....
