Well - a good a day as any to try a new board !! Sunny evening session WSW, probably around 15-18kn WSW, lowish tide - Rotunda run.
Decided to step down onto 85 litres for the first time...
KA Koncept 5.7, Tabou Da Curve 85 + stock 22cm fin. Probably a little underpowered on the 5.7, but the 6.6 is missing a batten at the moment.
First run - SWEET. Next two attempts, ended up with a nice little swim back inside the pier - oh well.
But then - bucket loads of fun on such a small board - felt nice and settled on the Rotunda speed strip, but really came into it's own in the chop - oh yeah bump n jump time lol.
I think I have found a new best friend...
