Look carefully and you will see Wazzarealestateagent just on the edge of the smooth. I pinged this whilst taxi driving snotgobblers, wind was not anything special but I can see what enticed Wazza out :-)

Coodanup, WA, AU

The wind at Coodanup was more fickle than a politician's promise. I rigged a NP Excess 6.3m2, just a tad optimistic! After finally getting up to the top of the weedbank, which seemed to take forever, there was some mirror smooth stuff but not nearly enough puff to really get going. The orange conduit pipe around Grumpy Rock appears to have gone....must be home renovation time somewhere in Coodanup.... but the big white one is still there. There's always tomorrow to look forward to.

a nice k bay formula sesh with the bendyman.

only 25 knots but feels a lot faster on the big beast.

used a 160 sboard formula with a rather large carbon pointer and a 10.7 severne R3.

Full power sesh with Ratz on his 48th birthday. Happy returns mate. Thanks for the beer!!

It was unreall being fully to over powered op on the course racing kit.

As a result of doing lots of SUP downwind paddling i weigh 5kegs less (now at 80kegs) I found it alot more challanging holding the power down in the gusts. Ratz was smoking my uphill today. The bear aways were full noise today with a few "touching cloth" moments!!Laughing

We'd better get you a bigger one for Christmas. Lens. You can't even see the look of frustration on my face but the weed does look tasty.

Are you saying that Grumpy rock in unmarked again? Maybe we should put flags on top of the poles so crabbers can see what they are there for and wil hopefully leave them alone.

Hey Wazza, when I looked through the binoculars this arvo at 2.00pm, the conduit ( orange painted in places as I recall) with reflective tape we placed was still there - It is almost due south from the steps on the outer edge of the smooth. There was no white post that I could see - all a bit weird....I will check again tomorrow morning.

( Oh and the photo is on my ancient phone - but you can still get me a kickarse lens )

No Windx, the big white one put out by the Capt'n is still there so Grumpy's rock is still easily spotted. At the moment!! I'm sure the our Capt'n has it carefully saved in his GT31 in case of Wokker mischief. The 3 markers up at the top end are fine...I was avoiding them this arvo!

Yeah Ratz, I've got a 7.8 race sail that I got from Elmo but I'd left it at home. Doh!!! I thought that the wind was going to pick up too. Double Doh! Would you like me to use my prescient powers to select your Lotto numbers for you?  On a better note it is, however, quite possible that our selfless sailing in light airs has pushed the Mobsters up a place in the standings despite the small numbers.

Fangy, Is yours a yellowy one.....I saw something out there further  but I am , as is my wont, confused.

I think so Wazza ( I am colour blind so darker yellowy = orange for me) Cap'n help me out here!.  It's out almost on the edge of the smooth - immediately after it the water depth starts to increase.

Happy Birthday Ratz. You'd be eligible for getting your hands on your super now?

At Ratz's tender age probably only in severe emergencies or difficult and extenuating circumstances.......like needing new speed board and expanding sail locker from time to time.Smile

Wazza, to unconfuse things, the post fangy and I placed was yellow plastic, painted with a brighter yellow primer/putty, (same as my fins) in bands around the post, with some of Strops reflective tape around it as well for good measure.

OK, I saw that yellow one today ( I had thought it was Paddington Bear)......is that Grumpy's Rock?   The one that Fin and I checked out was a white 100mm white pipe with a large piece of rock on the top that I thought was Decreps Rock. We placed an orange pipe next to it but I think that orange pipe is now part of a bathroom but the white one is still there.  Just to be clear, who's damn rock is that one????

No wazza, the one with the rock on top was yellow, and grumpys rock. (unless somebody's playing silly buggers and shifted it.) Decreps and Penny;s were unmarked as we couldn't find them

Something fishy goin' on ......I think that there might be another one out there....we can check tomorrow. Or more correctly YOU can all check tomorrow as I'm working to save the state and country and attempting to make up for the shortfall in the iron ore spot price. I'll be down late arvo as the Minister for Disapproval is in Brisbane so I have wtritten myself a late night sail pass. Yippee!

I just went down and checked. Grumpynuts is definitely still there. However up the top end we will need to check things out. I could not see the three posts. There was one orange one and a striped white one, but they looked to be too far apart. I suspect one of them has been moved?.. Will need to check further on water this arvo.
