dr cam (40798km):  5 categories Sandy Point, Vic, AU Testing Gear day in the PIT.Epic Wind Guru forecast for late in the day but wrong tide phase ... Some serious wind came through around 530 ( 30-44 knots )-too much for my tired ,aging body ,JP 50 & RSRe4 5.8 -kept getting smashed so retreated just in time to avoid getting stuck in the inlet with the high tide ... Left the 5m2/5.4m2 back in Melbourne ...silly boy ... Had a fun hour from 2 pm where a reasonably consistent 20 knots sprung up & I had some great runs on the JP 60 /CL sl 2 34 /Tribal Speed Weed & the RSRe5 7.8 . Tried the tribal 25 SW in the JP 50 speed -felt to big in the heavy wind & then had a brief run with the tribal ASY 21 speed but was survival stuff ... Highlight of the day was a great cup of coffee back at Daffy's place with some good yarns from Ado /Matt & Daffy .

Today a different story, got my arse kicked and couldn't get a corner right but it's happy dazzzz, nice to sail with the tall one 
I was expecting to see PM but he wasn't there
