Great to get out on my day off fun sail until I forgot to clip in the mast base right in after adjusting the downhaul board flew one way and I collect the sail at speed no real damage apart from a knee dent in the lower panel sore elbow and grazed neck, had to swim after the board eventually caught up with it but couldn't get the base back in lost the board again and ended up staying with the sail as it was sinking.Got rescued by local life guard(Hamma)Wink and drove around the lake to get the board put it all back together and continued sailing. There were a few guys out on jetskis and I can only say they were real helpful they all can't be that bad.

Wind was up and down went out in the morning with Dog some of the gusts were strong but just too square to get any sort of speed fun in the flattish water though.

Boggy Lake, SA, AU

Tough but fun day on the lake. Initially I was on the 30cm Rocket with the 79l Fanatic and a 5.2 Hellfire and later tried again with the 32.5 BP. Not set up brilliantly, I struggled in some of the gusts and got violently reaquainted with catapults a few times after losing the fin on the back of heaving chop. (Whaaa..SPLAT! Ooofff!)

Made me physically work hard for it today, between sudden gusts and the rolling chop.

Stunned I didn't get a better alpha, one gybe I did I came in sooo much faster than I ever have and punched out the other side. Presumably missed the 50m mark.

All in all a good day with Sam (who was observed smashing the sound barrier on a F2 missile) and Leon (who makes it all look too easy).

after work blast at LG

W 15 to 22 maybe usual gusty crap westerly, missed the best wind in the morning and was over when i got there. Frown I hate the west wind,

F2 sxs, 5.8 koncept, 24 tech falcon.

Wink still full of ham turkey beer and bundy so was a bit slow on it.

Smile havent been out for a bit as my 3 boys are all home and just been drinking and hanging with them as brad has been in london for last 2 years darcy was in peru surfing since easter and tys now moved to melbourne, been good having them around.

way under finned on the 5.8 but just grabbed the board and went, was a pain at the end picking up floating weed and the runs near sammys gap was weed clumps just below the water should have had the 30 choco weedy with this combo.

hard to say the water level as west pushs the big lake water in will comment when I sail the se thursday arvo.

a few out sailing from the spit caught up with Yetti for a chat.

Tongue out good to see the old airpipe missile out sam its a sweet ride. what fin did you run in it.

Nice escape down to Goolwa for a change. Conditions were quite good and the sun was shining most of the time.
