Interesting Sail with Nige and Johnny, started on 6.5 Ezzy and 108L Tabou, then changed to 5.0 Ezzy and 74L wave board and then was gusting too much and called it a day

Superb first run out, then the wind turned up 3 notches.  Couple of runs on the lulls - then watched Jimmy get smashed ;-)

Yea first day of the tins in a few months, came back to the old sport of windsurfing after a couple of months off kiting, started a fraternity but thats a story for another time! Anyway just ya basic new years eve eve speed sail with anzac and noddy. But in all seriousness havent sailed for a solid 3 months and was great to get a decent puff and sing along for a bit, even the local fishos where frothing! Gear felt tight as a nun and also snapped my boom, Happy days.

Cheers to the sponsors  that I never talk to,

Stanley, TAS, AU. Fun sail at Stanley, the wind eased a bit as the tide dropped. Didn't realise i was that close to a 40 5x10.

Well sailed today Perks. Well done James 2nd fastest speed in Tassie and a Port Sorell spot record.

Great afternoon blast. So nice to have some strong mainly consistant wind for a change. Going for speed runs was a bit scarey today, very choppy. 32 came up on the dial but obviously not for long enough. I love being on holidays.Cool

Awesome 2sec PB, Jimmy B! I was a bit worried when you went over to the dark side, but seems you still know how to windsurf.

Well down James. You'll get bored with kiting, the backwards and forwards of it, even boosting gets boring after a while, you'll start missing the ease of windsurfing, no bloody kite lines to content with and you can have a rest easily when you feel like it.Cool

Crazy numbers. Big difference between 2 sec and average speeds. Must have been gusty!

Amazing 2sec James Anthony and Cookie monster! Plenty of wind at the Pit but not quite strong enough for the small sails and highest speeds.

See ya in LG!
