Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU   Well, l dont know about anyone else but l had a very pleasant scooting this arvo at Peelie! It was flatter than yesterday so, very nice to sail on. Old sonic 58, Overdrive 6.7 (a sail for all occasions) and Delta 19.

Well, bit of a fizzer, looked great, rigged small only to see it die as I was due to launch. Wasted best of the wind re-rigging. Tibor meanwhile was king of the lake having a great time. I only got about 1 dodgy bearaway, can't believe the speed was that good, that 6.6 sail is a beautie. CASL92, 6.6, 19MUF

Lake George, SA, AU.

Last day at Beachport and wind was back so out to lake for a quick sail.S/E 20-25 knots stronger than Tuesday but gusty and a bit choppy.

Used the old Seatrend and 5m revo again..(Year 2000 Vintage gear.)24 unifibre lessacher antiweed.

Headed upwind a bit and found some shallow(calf deep)water 2/3 of the way over to other side. Worked this out when I thought I should stop and check as water was somewhat smoother..Seems to have dropped in 2 days if thats possible????Had to walk to deeper water to get going as fin was dragging in the firm sandy bottom.

Anyway not as comfortable today so didn't improve on Tuesdays speed ..Tried to bear away more as per James but too choppy and spinning out ..

Saw 2 people sailing at southern end of lake and 1 person out from the spit that disappeared behind the islands..We meet that 1 person who was Cameron (Dr cam )from FNQmob while having Tea at the Pub..GPS Team T shirt helps with identity.

We will be packing up early tomorrow and heading east to Sandy Point.

See you later

Ian and Jo

Swansea, NSW, AU

Isonic 97, 7.1 36 pointer

no wind on ocean, no wind at coal point and about 15 - 18 before if died as storm clouds gathered but didnt break.

had a bit more east in the wind which i think provides the best line both ways

fastest speed was when heading north just after the gap

Hey Murray,

Left a message a while back you may not have seen. Is there any chance I could get a copy of a few photos you took of me at Budgewoi Sat 3rd? Has anyone got an alternative contact method for Murray?

Cheers,

Adrian

Adrian, best way is probably to PM muz720 on seabreeze to get in touch with him.
