Lake George, SA, AU

Thought my GPS had paused itself, not sure what happened, numbers recored which is good.

I should have had a lay day, my foot is killing me, but the wind was calling, again! Nothing strong but what a sail, rigged the 7mtr KA Race and Mist 91ltr with 27 Tribal WS and in the first hour was nicely powered up. Later in the arvo it dropped, but the sail was so enjoyable, it was just Glynn, Mark, Marie and myself for most of the arvo until a few Sydney siders hit the water, nice meeting you all! There was a section of the lake just off cockies where it was blowing about 16 knots and for about 300 mteres the water was like a mill pond, but you could keep sailing straigth through it, unusualy and fun expereince.

Until tomorrow... fingers crossed for no wind, LOL

Lake George, SA, AU

Light wind today but picked up nice for a while then died.

Fun sailing with Mat, Maree & Mark J.

Unreal towards the end half the lake went glassy but still windy just so weird.

Weed was a big problem as the wind died hard to get going with a big ball of weed on the fin for this big fella not so bag for the lighter weights.

Good write up guys, does sound very unique.

Quiet here today after a windy SE week. Typically, forecast changed at last minute.

Hope the wind Gods are kind to you!!
