Peel Inlet, WA, AU - Liptons!

Bit of a wait for the forecast breeze - rigged RSR E4 7.0 with RRD Xfire 98 V6 [new board] with 31 Tribal weed. On the water a bit after 4 off just before 6. Plenty out and good to put faces to the names [shake hands with a few other GTSTC tragics]. Most were expecting a bit more that what the dial read. Great fun in any case - Stroppo ans Slowbaot doing the shootout methinks!

peel... called PD about 2 and he mentioned the met eye forecast was showing a good kick around 5 down there so decided on a last minute dash. Didnt even think thered be wind to sail today but the trees were moving so figured the other forecasts were a bit off. Got there just in time as the wind came in, and rigged the KAR6.3m SP95 and Tribal 23 spw. First run hit a 40 yeehar. Then it was a while before my next one, but pretty consistent. A bit choppier than the last few times but it was OK. Great turnout. Having a ball. Got back to the car and discovered my FarKing keylock had reconfigured itself when I was closing it. And the combination I programmed in was no longer the combination... and it was locked. So with Alan's brute force technique, decrep's screwdrivers and a brick that strop found (strategically there for car entry I guess) the lock was disposed of within a minute. With a bit of practice, the FAR KING keylock would be a nice easy way to borrow a car in seconds without breaking in methinks. scary. So thanks guys for the help... saved me 2 extra hours of driving and shuttles to get the spares!

I know Mandurah has a reputation for being a bit wild and lawless, but, when everyone fetched tools from their cars to help Chris break into his key safe, someone had an AXE!

Aww come on Allen, it was only a little hatchet, there to get rid of trees fallen across the road, at Boombas and Cheesgraters in wild winter storms.
