Pelican Point, WA, Patrik 125, Matrix 7.5, CL2 38

Super gusty and horribly sloppy in the middle but I worked my way upwind and had some great fun in the flats out on the Point. Obelix headed out as I was unrigging, hope the wind stays around.

Coodanup 135 and 8.6 Loft and Delta. bloody shallow today I can tell you, walked about 100m before I could chance a step on the board.

Oh I remeber now I hate #$%^$%% Easterly breezesFrown

It was on and off rapidly, then cloud cover which really tin fruited the session. Came in for a breather and Grumpsmurf showed up for half and hour for a chat. He headed off home, and I was going as well, but walked back out to gear and the breeze came in enough to get me back onm the board for a few more slogging runsLaughing

In the end it was a day that was at least on the water and I had the bloody joint all to myself all day.Smile

Albany.

Out the front of Panorama Campground. VERY poor camping area, excellent sailing spot!

Its a shame the wind wasn't any better. Dead flat for as far as I could see over the shallow weed bank. I'll be back!

Sailed on Saturday as well but even slower as lighter wind. Another great family camping trip.

Not a top ten Fangy Day?

Not a top ten Liptons day either by the looks of those numbers.

Sorry the wind didn't come in as forecast down there.

Strop, I did consider going there as Lezz was o that side. When I got to Fangys and found I was on my Pat MaloneLaughing  But being a lazy ol mungrels, I thought I would rig up and if it was staying, sail up that area anyway. But first rig tuning run, out to the channel, back and a few adjustments, a swig of water and headed out again, but got near the channel markers, and it was going real soft and zero squashed air on the horizon. Sailed back to shore line, then it went all bugger up after that. Some nice in the harness smooth runs but the cloud cover was the killer.

Was dreading the freeway traffic and I think I got the initial run home mob, with some real slow spots. Took two hours to get home as it was.

Gee there are some absolute #$$ wits on the roads now days. One dick .... must have chopped lanes in front of me 9-10 times, and ended up two cars ahead  all the way from Lakes rd to South St exit.Laughing
