Primbee, NSW, AUaround

Well early start paid off i think. Had to wait for a couple of hours for the breeze to come through but got on the water around 10am in approx 15 - 25knots WSW. First run with the new SV R6 7.8 Felt nice but a little overpowered without full downhaul(yet) Got some nice NM from the poles to the jetty before it started to swing to S and die before the SE kicked in. Had a break the went back out with R4 6.2 but the SE was really gusty and arms and foot were over it so I pulled the pin before I hurt or broke something. Happy! Think I'll be well enough to go back to work tomorrow Undecided

Primbee, NSW, AU       Got there around ten to see Stu flying along in a 20kt SW but by the time I got in it was

all stop start little gusts. Drifted in for a break just as the S hit. Got trapped out in the middle

once when I could not get the cam sail out of the water. But sweet as bro along the shoreline.

To tired in the end but still plenty of wind for the workers.

JP 66 102L Slalom 6.6m Loft Oxy, fins 23 & 32 BP WS & 26 Uni wf. Also Old F2 Mystery 256 85L.

Great to see a number of familiar faces down at Primbee again, the strip is look good for westerly season. This was my first voyage on the JP66, tried a few different fin combos to get one with a good feel. May take a while to get used to this board its got quite a wide arse. Also first ride on the old F2 freeby thats been sitting in the shed for over a year, needs more wind to get this one going well.
