Primbee, NSW, AU      Well I arrived at 9 expecting to see the car park full, only Stu already on the water,

wind was up and down and already moving towards the SW, this with a high tide

made for low chop along the shoreline. You had to be in the right place for a long run.

More arrivals through the day made for a great turnout, finally found Chris.

The Council finally has mowed the area, after 6 weeks or more and left behind huge mounds of grass.

First day back on the water since LG.....and it was AWESOME!!! Had an absolute ball, was a bit up and down but reasonably flat water in close. Great speeds and missed out on an Alpha PB by 0.01knts, very happy with the 2sec though. Great to see everyone again.

Primbee, NSW, AU . WSW up to about 20 knots. Patchy and dropping.

Slipped out of work early and managed to get on the water just before 4pm. Nicely planing for about 40 mins, but the wind then faded and turned more to the SW. It was then on and off for the next half hour until I pulled up stumps. Nice flat water, and even a bit of weed growing. Fingers crossed for winter!

Good to see some of the team on the water or packing upSmile

Westerly season is here! I knocked off work early with a couple of hours time off in lieu to be made up at a later windless date, and headed to Primbee. Almost lost the car again in the long grass but the tractor soon turned up for about the first time in six months and started to mow patches around the cars. It will be quite amusing to see the final result once cars are gone. But I shouldnt complain, Ive less chance of losing my gear now. Conditions were good though a bit up and down but its just great to get back out there for some quality sailing time and also to see all the crew again.

Last on the water just after 4pm but then had boom issues for the next hour. My boom couldn’t decide what length it wanted to be so for most of the time that I was sailing the sail was hanging over the boom arms. Tried to fix it several times without luck and then it finally held. From then on I started to enjoy the breeze but it just continued to die and swing more SW. It picked up slightly just on dark but seeing where I was going was becoming a problem so I pulled the pin at 6:10.

Primbee, NSW, AU TABOU SPEEDSTER + SEVERNE OD R6 7+ MXR SPECIAL = Laughing Nudist.

Well got there early but had to go Doctors and school holidays, got back and it was still like the morning up and down, Rig the 5.6 but, then MUDCRAB came and put his 7.0 well I ended up doing the same even though Stu said maybe 7.8 as he was leaving us.  It was great to see the team out early and late Mudcrab it was good to see you having a sail again.  MT sorry I missed your call, 7.0 maybe would have been better for you. Fabio next time next time. I dont belive that the Alpha worked it must have something to do with GO TEAM SEVERNE. Go team Speedsters
