Primbee, NSW, AU   Still a lot of SW this  morning, sometimes turning W through the day, 24kts max on the  meter.

After Matts post yesterday of his broken board I kept well away from the marker bouy, it was alright

going towards Windang with the Sun at your back but coming back you could not see where it was,

even with polaroids on and knowing it was out off the caravan park. So be careful.

Tabou 95l Rocket   NP 5.8 Evo6    Does Tex still sail?

Primbee, NSW, AU.  W up to 25 knots, gusty.

Just got 3/4 hour in before the sun went down, but definitely better than a no show!

I was mostly uncomfortable for this short session, fighting the on-off nature of the wind. I'm not sure what was wrong with the setup - maybe the sail was a bit large. I have been playing around with adjustable outhauls so maybe I had the sail choked a bit. Quite a few out on the water, watching the sun setCool!

Primbee, NSW, AU. SB 99L Carve SV 5.6m OD, 24cm Uni wf.

I managed to keep this board in one piece today for which Im very greatful, but I did give that suspect section of water quite a wide berth. Also I finally got to try out the OD 5.6m for the first time and its great, thought I would be under powered but it was quite comfortable to sail, Cheers Nudist. Hope you guys will be back from Hawaii for Sunday. Also great Alpha Eckers.

I departed before the afternoon shift arrived, a bit worn out, but ready for more.

Great to catch up with Andrew and Michael but when will we see Larko and Dave.

Going to buy two yellow diesel jerry cans tomorrow, one for the white bouy and

one for Matts UFO, if we can find it.

Thanks Fellas.  That was truly unexpected but a pleasant surprise nonetheless - I had no focus or intention of trying to nail an alpha PB, but with amazing steady wind and relatively flat water, it just happened.  Dare I say it the conditions were almost Lake George like.

Fanatic Falcon 104, Gun Weed Control 29, 2008 North Ram 6.3

Sadly, I discovered last night that my rebuilt carbon boom head did suffer a crack on its first outingon the weekend.  As MT predicted, right where the headpiece becomes the arms, where it suffers both maximum flexural and torsional stress.  The cracked happened within the first 5 minutes, but the boom then survived an increasing intensity workout so I'm hoping it's just the top layer of bi-direction sock that has come unstuck.

Hey Speedsters, I put a 20l yellow jerry can on the white marker bouy today, (concrete block) hopefully you will

be able to see it better. Even though the lake is pretty high out at the marker its only knee deep. Had a wander to

find Matts UFO, no luck, need a search party, see you this weekend, save me a van space.

Great Stuff Terry - you really are the aquatic curator of the Primee speed strip.
