A good turn out of sailers today, I think 8 and one kite.

The wind was excellent but I struggled with the cold and choppy conditions.

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU Disappointing sesh today and we all really thought it was going to happpen. Not today. Should of been on 7.5 and 115l, but na, on the 6.6 koncept 92 Patrik 18 Delta. Even rigged my 5.8 as well with the 70l speed, never touched that. Lake is super shallow constantly hearing th "ting ting" on the fin. But flat as F@$^!! To much North in the breeze reducing the length of the runs of flat and pushing you onto the bar, and bloody cold!!!! Tomoz will be better! More west and hopefullly stronger! Go Marauders, go XXXX and get sick tomoz so you can go sailing boys and girls.Cool

Had a quick sail with Mark J, Steve and later AJ. Wind was patchy and cold. 0-20kts.

Lake was flat over the weedy section on mud bank but too shallow for me to get in there without a delta.

Loved finally getting some wind.

Steve and Mark were having some smoking runs

A nice winter's sail. Cold, gusty and an unusual direction. Not sailed with this much north in the west wind. 12-18k with 22k gusts. Ramped up later after a big lull on the way back. Very shallow on the bank and hard to get out there.Managed a few nice gusts, but had more fun in the chop. Some nice air time. Bill, Anton, Pete, and Aza out. Bill's secret weapon today was the hot water bottle in the wetsuit trick. Definitely a first.Surprised 93,10.5, 5.5

Great sail at Queens with the guys. W-Nw 15-20 knots. A bit gusty but good when it filled in.

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU an afternoon session in what had to be the coldest I have ever felt while sailing....ever.

A lot of lads and a lassie out today all expecting more that it delivered, too much north in the breeze made the angle into the flats a bit much for any long runs, too risky going into the shallows going fast. The other tack had you giong out into the chop.

NW about 12-18 knots but gusty and freezing. A couple of the boys chickened out as they said it was too cold. Did I mention it was freakin' cold?

HSM 6.6 GPS + JP112L + 21cm MUF.

Well done to anyone who went out today!!

Cheers.

Very COLD today!!!

Everyone packing up when I got there other than James, Dean, Johnny and myself.

Not what was forecast, quite lite should have taken the 8.7m.

Bic 149L, 7.9m GSR and 23 delta.

Queens Lake, NSW, AU

Falcon Slalom 79, KA Race 7.1, Delta Slalom 19

So inconsistent. 20-30 minutes waiting between gusts and each gust was enough for one run (I was lucky enough to get a gybe on one gust and get two runs). 15-20kn in the gusts. Without gusts the lake went to glass, so time to watch the sea eagles and shags go fishing. 19klm and most of it walking out from the shallow weed after each run.....damn hard work

Sailed with Dion, Steve and MArk. Greg went out as I came in.

A long time between sails for me, good to see some familiar faces.

Will try for tomorrow after work, depending what time I finish.

Went out first with the 61 patrik speed and 6.2m , one run and the weed was way too thick for the black project , and wind had no guts , dredged in and got the 87 slalom and 19 slalom delta , had a really nice time on the mud flats , just need some more consistent wind , north west is a nice angle but just didnt come in hard enough , got out at 12.30 and the wind kicked hard for a while , iam sure adam got some nice runs

nice sail at queens with steve , dion and adam , left early think the wind was getting better

uploaded my other gps , slightly higher figures , looks nicer

Wow Mick! Tongue outTongue out  Hope it blows enough..I used the 50 isonic at LG but the water is denser so it was easier to use .I'll be interested to see if i can mange it at Budgy ( don't want to sell it? Wink )

Not looking forward to putting on a wet wetsuit tomorrow..Frown Yep Wayne it was b cold! After sitting in the water waiting to waterstart ( and my head going under a few times) I felt it was time to quit before I got hypothermia..I was hoping the rescue boat wouldn't come and 'rescue me'..Embarassed

Good on ya Biggs, you smashed us today. Glad you had some wind. I was thinking you might have to do the walk home but luckily the wind returned. Great numbers team.
