first time out on a board i customised myself

Falcon 79l, OD 5.6, CRAIG COLE 17 primbee weedie

There was zero wind when I got there today, but promise of wind coming so rigged 6.2, then the wind came and it seemed pretty full on, so rigged the 5.6, went out and the wind died. Still it was a beautiful warm sunny day on the illawarra, and the sailing was stand around for a bit, catch a gust, stand around a bit more, and catch a gust back. The guys that went out late in the afternoon shouldve had a good time, looked like it stayed windy. 

Saw the gustbusters club house there, but doors were locked and no sign of the club house manager, so no chance of a flat white today.

nice day at primbee in the sun,very off and on with a lot of standing around

iam still impressed with the makani speed fins,and at 28deg iam surprised that it handles the primbee weed just have to stay out a bit wider but thats ok chop doesnt worry the makani

good to see dezza out,promise you a coffee next time or the clubhouse always has beer
