First sail in months. Rigged 5.8 and it was too small, but it was so fantastic just to be sailing again. And so good to catch up with all the guys again.

Wind was very gusty with lots of times standing around in the rain and no wind. Then we'd get a gust for a few minutes. Sailed with Matt D, Wayno and Old Pete. We came in and the second shift, Mick, Bruce and Tibor, went out. It looked a bit more consistent for them.

Very on and off session! Each time the the rain came the wind died.

Good to see Pugs out on the water again! Wayne and old Pete were out also,Micky, Bruce and Tibor went out later.

 Quick afternoon sail. Four days in a row and too tired to do more. Rain cleared and wind ramped up for some maxed out runs in the chop. SSE-S 15-25k. 79,27,6.6.

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU - Friday is Seniors Day today, me, Pete, Pugs, Matty (honary Senior) later Bruce, Tibor and Mick (another honary).

Pretty ordinary session as it was gusty and shifty, S/SSE 10-25 knots with a few bullets every so often. Very hard to do a good run. Used my warmer wetsuit today so did not feel as cold as the other days this week.

Thought a 6.0 GPS with the CA SL55 and 19 cm Delta would be big enough....it wasn't.

Turned up this arvo with Matty D, Pugs,Wayno and Dad (Pete) comin in with a dying breeze. Bruce and Tibor just rigged and were heading out. Lake looked angry when I left home with only 6.6 and 92l biggest on board. Matty offered me a go on his 7.1 Gun sail and 117 CA with 18 Delta with 10/18knts of a out of breath southerly. Sweetest combo and perfect for what was on offer. Go Marauders!!!!
