Port Douglas, QLD, AU Nice afternoon sail with Andrew, Ian, James and his lovely wife Mandy..Wind was solid all arvo and i was totaly powered up on 97lt Isonic 6.6m North rig' 38cm fin..Had some good drags with the boys ,they were all honking and i had to work hard to keep them under control.. Got a bit over powered in the last quarter,as wind climbed to well over 20kts and i was running out of fuel..James started to get the better of me on his little wave board and smaller rig.'.You get that'..Every one came around home for a coffe and a chat afterwards,Nice way to end a good session..Cheers Ed..

First sail since Aug 15 (8 weeks) Sailed with Ed, Andrew, James, and Mandi.  Time out of the water was telling as I tierd early and dropped too many gybes. Realised I was over-finned early in the afternoon but couldnt face the long, low tide, walk back to the beach to change it. After the sail, a cup of tea at Ed and Sue's  was just what was needed before the drive home up the hill. - Exocet Tb, 6M Aerotech rapid fire, Nitro 38.

Had another great sail again today up at Pt D in Eds and Andrews backyard - they invited us down from the mountain to whip our asses. I`m not sure what Ed has been feeding his turbo duck but it was flying today (baked beans maybe ?!? it sure was getting plenty of air). It took us a while to decide to go down the coast as the weather looked a little wet and still to start with - but as the day wore on it started looking pretty good - ended up a solid 20 kn or even a few more at times at Pt D. Ian sailed really well concidering he has had 5 weeks off, had a bad back and just got out of the chiropractor. - he said he was going to take it easy !! Andrew had a good day on a 6m -  he was even talking about a smaller board, Ed used his 6.6 and was on the edge for a lot of the day (where he likes it), I also used a 6 but had a smaller board which was nice. We all headed around to Ed and Sues place for refreshments afterwards -- Thanks Sue. Great Day, see you all next time  -- anyone want to go to Newell or Wonga tomorrow ??

Another great day on the waters of FNQ lads, well done. Looks like the PD connection is staring to fire. Mix in the mountain men and you get a real competition feel.

Yer goodone guys. some close numbers there. Fast Freddie managed to stay a board length in front . Think he does it just to annoy me...Good write up James. Ian I was thinking exactly the same thing as you. Was draging a bit to much fin through the water and to lazey to walk up the beach for a smaller one.got foot strap blisters on both feet at the moment.

Great numbers there Eddy and Ian. There is nothing between the the three of us except I have new batteries in my gps

and just so happened to make it that tad faster.Wink Eddy great distance again(hope Susie is looking after your blistersCry

and Ian good numbers overall seen you have not sailed for awhile. (Bas%$@d)

What is the go with Jimmy James.....no results again.....he he just being tight and saving the batteries in his gps.Money mouth

Great turn out..will have to arrange a 'get together/sail' so we can get all together...young and oldish!!
