What a magic day. Stoked the wind came through for everyone who travelled. It was a fun day and the atmosphere with everyone out was great.

First time with the 8m (2014 model) and I was really happy with it. I've never used such a big sail and was surprised at how light it felt. I even waterstarted once without any dramas. When the bigger gusts came through I thought it twisted off nicely and never felt over powered.

Big thanks to James and his wife, Byron and Remi for putting the event together.

What a great day sailing for the first GPS comp of the season. James, Byron and Mux great job runnign the show and thanks for the guys from the Central coast to come down and have a go.

Unreal second race, I dare say Byron and myself did not pull away from each other more than 50m during the entire 1/2hr.

Hats off to Tibor for running a 9.0 and big board during the 3 races!

Thanks Sean... yeah, the Partik speeds all have black pads and they look so stealth. I'd almost consider ripping my white ones off and replacing them with the black.

Congrats to the DDs for a huge team effort and we'll done on the PBs for Remi and Nigel!

Respect to Artur and powersloshin for giving it a go.

Remi was so close to Byron in the prelim results that there was nothing in it (especially if you round up the numbers). It looks like Byron's alpha was the difference. Amazing it was do close.

And now with the Freerace results out. Congratulations Remi!!! Your no. 1
