Great afternoon with Dean.

Hit the gravel on my first gybe and cauliflowered the fin. Had a couple of runs and when I came in to change fins noticed that my GPS was swimming inside the Aquapack which had a split in the side. Seems to be OK. Cost a fin but saved my GPS I think.

Didn't like that fin anyway Darryl. If I hadn't come in when I did I would have drowned my GT31. Nice to have summer back.

Thanks Darryl, was a sad day again because i was catapulted and put a tear in the sail towrds the top :-( and broke another batten.

On a lighter note, all this encouraged Mark and i to question and physically measure my downhaul settings.  It evidently appears that the dimensional markings on my extension are out by 80mm (damn it).  So all this time ive been trying to improve the handling of this sail to no avail and ended up breaking two batterns.  Hopefully it will imrove more so now?
