Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty, NZ. Fergusson Park session

CA66,TRX 7.7, Meanline 39.5. W and WSW 18-22knts

Second session of the day on the open harbour ,some smooth runs mixed with harbour chop on the big gear with lots of others out.

I started at speed creek earlier on the low tide and logged slightly higher speeds 32-30 ave for a very similar distance ,but unfortunately 'cleared' my GW52, prior to this session and deleted that session ! doh !. ...note to self ' its not a GT31 !'...so it would have been a 100k day, feelin it today :)

More in the forecast for the next day, fingers crossed I can get out on smaller gear

Lake Clearwater, late (4.15pm) NW.

Tried all day to be NE but too much pressure from the west coast.

Wind got strong later, needed 4.0 and too knackered by then to change.

Mykz lake board, Maui Legend 5.3, Mykz 270/20deg fin

Hey Terry ! Yeah tried hard but let down by a few soft minutes that let me grovelling, was trying hard to go north of 20knts for the hour.

Loving the 'new'sail, new to me anyway, in fairness its probably only had a dozen runs by the previous carefull owner. Its awesome, even seriously overpowered in big gusts it is controllable.

Just picked up the TRX 6.3 from same owner and had my first session on it yesterday in average conditions but when it blew it was awesome smoooth and great to gybe.....just waiting for 'ideal' speed conditions to really put it through its paces !   Hunting for a TRX 7.0 now...know of any ?
