2988 days ago Primbee. Solid seabreeze - 15-22 knots tending a bit northerly by the end.
Fanatic Falcon 104, North Warp 7.0, Makani Hahalua 38cm for some lake crossings then switched to the black project weed speed 31 for a few bearaways in the shallows to round out the day.
Great day on the water with "long time no see" Chris, Al, Terry and some newbies testing out some recently acquired old gear.

A couple of runs in the bay on the short board before the breeze got up, then out on the raceboard fighting the 9.2. Great racing today particularly with Neil. Could see a few sails heading out from Primbee across to the Island and from the IYC side it looked like a great run. Even thought I saw Chris' sail in the distance. Welcome back mate, guess youve been pretty busy with the new family.

Gusty NNE today at the ramp making it hard to line up a good long run. The best wind was further south out in the middle of St Georges basin, less holes and more flat water between the chop.
It was great to see so many visitors today, Boombuster was down, four of the Double Demerits crew, old mate Nigel watts and a lot of Gustbusters as usual.

Round 5 of the NSW Raceboard Series with the formula crew. Five races in a building north wind. Wow - what fun! The steep "random" chop was a real challenge, making transitions very tricky. I used the raceboard sail for the first 3 races and then swapped to the R7 for the last two. First time out on the 9.2m and it was so well controlled in the conditions. The inducers are a bit stiff at the moment but well pleased with its performance.
All in all a great raceboard day - this craft is so good in 2 knots to 25 knots +, very versatile and just a lot of fun.
