Jay (14389km): Melville Beach, WA, AU Reflex 4 7.0, Mistral 112, CL2 32. Unlike yesterday, the bank had no wind over it thus eliminating the "speed run". Not a bad sail none the less.
Darryl (25155km): Port Coogee, Pat 115, NCX 6.5 Tribal 31, Where did all the water go. Very shallow at woodies, thought a 31 would be ok, it wasn't :) Did a few runs out wide, should have rigged the 7.8 but was in a hurry so just took what i used yesterday.
Nauli (21279km): 7.0 Reflex 6; X-F 90: FB 34...Melville Got held up at work again and arrived late as breeze was dying...not as windy as yesterday but had a better session...smoother water...longer runs...until the last 10 min when I ended up having to swim most of the way in...the 90 litre ain't no floater for me!
Annie (12994km): 6.5M T4 & 94Lt Cross FWW After spending the morning with my new personal trainer, I did not have a lot of energy for sailing It was still fun but I had to shorten my time on the water (3 days in a row hhmmm). Loved the beach entertainment including the "Slowie Family Pantomime"

Nelson d Foiler (31112km): Exocet Cross 106L with 7.0M T-bird & 40 MFC The board was bouncing in the chop so grabbed the RRD Firestorm 101L with 36 EX Vector When this became too much in the gusts I grabbed the Exo Cross 94L with the 36 EX. This felt better but still banging in the chop, at the end of the day I think I'm just tired Too many days in a row Hung around to make sure Nauli got back when the wind dropped out, saw he was able to walk so we left |
