Melville - IS107, CR7.7, Volt 36.  Not a great hour number byt team standard, but I'm happy.  2 hour bike ride and over an hour of sailing non stop sailing today.  So ready to eat and sleep now.

Carpark was full. Shame the wind wasn't. Ok it was still fun to get out.

Rocket 125, tried 6.0 Gator, too small, then 7.5m Turbo, then back to the Gator.

Pleasant afternoon, but rather slow.

Good to see Shaw and Tim.

Coodanup, WA, AU 5.7K, M91 23 pepeweed

I had intended to go for an hour today, but after two upwind legs it was not going to happen. My arms were still tired after speedsailing on Thursday - or it could have been carrying heavy lounge chairs yesterday - or both, anyway my arms were saying "we should have stayed home!" Some fine adjustment of the harness lines helped a lot, but arms are still required for gybing unless you are a champion who can get the sail to rotate around itself with little assistance. Sadly I am well short of that ability. The wind was good when I set out and I was well powered but the wind dropped about the time Andrew hit the water. By the time I got up to the top of the nm run there was barely enough wind to power a downwind run, and not very powered up at that.

There were a lot of stingrays around today. I saw one cute baby one which was only about 25cm across, and one larger one swam along with me - under my board - for a while. It was doing about 15 knots I would say.

Not a top 10 Fangy day, but it was a lovely day on the water and a lovely day for a drive in the country. Andrew said the drive up the freeway was the best part of the session - so that doesn't say much for the sailing, does it? Anyway, we did manage to keep Fangman company so he doesn't feel abandoned at Fangyland now that most of the MMob have migrated to Liptons. He was Scott Fourmates and one kite today.

Watermans, 5.8 wave panther, Kombat 79l then the sonic 95l as the Kombat was too small. Sonic was good but a bit different to get it to turn around compared to the smaller board. Managed to "carve" it around on a couple of outside lumps. Sort of like the titanic. Good fun day, had hoped to do a Mettams to Watermans but it all got a bit complicated to just went to watermans instead.

Cervantes, WA, AU I considered 1 hour but conditions were too hard. Still ended up on the island with 2 sealions. 83l JP wave, 5.4 infinity, Uh, I probably talked to Banyip not realising he was in our team. Also looks like if I don't concentrate on Alpha they are faster than if I do. Smile Like when I was instructing my nice I was nowere near what Wern was instructing. Embarassed

The stingrays are certainly back in force at the moment.I didnt have too many issues on Saturday, but on Friday they seemed to be everywhere. But for sure, the little bubby ones are the cutest. They look like something out of a Pixar flick. And man can they swim fast when they need to!!
