Melville Beach, WA, AU

Nice after work blast at Melville. Gusty as hell, high tide, choppy on the run as a result but in March you take what you can get. Only a few die-hards out! NP RSR E6 7.0, RRD Xfire V6 98, Tribal weed 29.

Melville, M137 KAR7.1m CLSL1-38.

Super gusty by the time I got on the water. Started on the M95 but the wind went into shutdown mode by the time I rigged. I cant blame snides- he had already been sailing for a while. I'll blame PD instead :) He got on the water within a few minutes of me. Did a couple of runs on the M95 at first but realised I would be much better off on the big board due to the extensive holes. Had a ball on that! Even got powered up a couple of times. Was choppy with the high tide but that meant I didnt worry about hitting the bottom anywhere.

PS: just noticed this is a 5x10PB for me on the 137... that was unexpected.

Pelican Point, WA, AU

Sorry about the late post, I left my GPS in Istaaaks car! The winds were in and so was the tides so the chop was rolling.

Wednesday was the last of the Pelicans Slalom and it was good to see a few crew wagging work to make use of the honken wind!

7.1 KA Race, 107 iSonic and 32 Vector Volt.

edit: PB on the 1 hr. I better get fit I reckon!
