RS3 and 7.6 then later 6.6. Super strong NE (For April) Big crowd out, 11 I think.

Good to see Walshy back in action. He made me have a go on his isonic 107, truly terrifying! 28 seconds after stepping on it I was doing over 30 kts.

What a nice surprise, a good NE/NNE so late in the year. All the usual suspects, you know who you are plus Mark J & Daffy.

10-18kts Ne then more NNE with some 20kts gusts but in the chop. peel st Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU .

7m OD + 89ltre Falcon + 19cm delta

Could have used the 7.8m but would have been harder to get upwind. Started out good in the flats but patchy out and then when it came in strong in the chop but it didn't seem to be getting into the flats as much.

Fun sail although not as fast as I would have expected. I suppose I wasn't really powered up enough to really bear off. Boy I love flying through that flatwater and gybing in it. Bit deeper than a month ago.

I feel something is clicking , finally starting to get it as sailing in chop has been more fun ( mind you lighter winds though) and my gybes are starting to feel really good. Still need finetuning and plan them more for consistent wind so I can plane through without losing speed. Even did a few gybes in the small chop.

Been starting to wonder whether to get a more chop friendly board for off Coal pt although I haven't had a suitable fin for the falcon. Have to give it a go with a decent fin to see if i can tame the beast as its b fun in the flats and I love its manic acceleration ( scary with no mastfoot pressure in chop!Surprised ).

Johnny, Jordo, Wayno, Jamie Pete Bruce Tibor  Gary Pete Jason Paul Mike, Daffy, Mat , Mick all having fun.

Daffy has been so lucky to score 2 decent NE this late in the season!  Surprised

Another unexpected but welcome surprise at Peelie! Good to see so many guys enjoying the place . I didnt recognise but l believe M.Jordan was there and met up with Daffy who was on his way home. Now he knows our secret spot as well!  l used the 90L isonic with the 7m o.drive +28cm weedie compliments of Bruce.

Steve,

That is very dissapointing, On big days I have started carrying two devices, the back up being a Canmore but I have had similar problems with it. Sometimes it just stops logging for no apparent reason. Try turning it on again does it log correctly?

I have found that the only way to get it going again is to delete all the log files and then it seems ok. I would be interested to know if your issue is the same.

It is the Canmore Andrew but when i was over the islands it showed 43.5km (distance) and 55.7km (speed) then when I got home it had the above times only. It has been fine up until today, i must have done something whilst playing with it. Normally I just look at it when I'm finished. I'll delete all the files and start off fresh tomorrow (i'm a cluster lol)

Steve, the Canmore only has 3MB of memory available so it doesnt take long to fill. Mine has 10 files on it which resulted in 500KB left.

Also on Seabreeze there is a thread about Canmores and corruption which reduces the amount of available memory. Might be worth a look.

Bugger Steve! I wear 2 x GT31s on good days just in case the battery dies on one  or something else happens.I just post off one.

Sounds like it would have been a good day to sail the RS 2 Andrew. Pity I can't be in 2 places at the same time!

Great speeds as usual Bruce!

Sue you don't need to be in 2 places at once as Coal Point is the place to be with all your GPSTC mates Laughing

Sue ^ there's a big compliment for you right there.

Better screenshot that and keep it for when you are feeling down.

I really think you are the hardest working sailor in the GPSTC. Always working on getting the right equipment and the right technique and pushing yourself to go faster.
