Port Sorrell, TAS, AU Always a good saail with a top class crew (Tom, Johno, Perks and Stew). Up early and down the beach before seven, only to find Perks ready to go and out there. Rigged slalom and speed kit today, and needed both. Loving the JP boards.

Stanley, TAS, AU, A nice early start (not sure why) waited in knee deep water for 2 hours for the wind.

I should have known it wouldn't arrive until Baz came out. A bad sign, he had the same size sail as mine, so i watched him

sail backwards and fowards until the wind picked up enough for me to get going. Had one run right at the end up the middle of the channel

for a 39.

Stanley, TAS, AU  Early low tides often a problem. Took a gamble that it wouldn't really kick in till the bank disappeared. Unusual for Cookie and I to be on the same size sail. For me it meant I could sail around while Cookie waited for a gust. But it only takes Cookie one run to blow me out of the water. His average  2 sec max speed on a 6.2 is about 10 knots faster than mine. I guess we both kind of achieved our objectives, in a very different way.

Pitt Water, TAS, AU. Isonic 87, Volt 2 30cm and 5,6 R6.

The plan was to sail at Dorans with Russ and co. When we got to Lauderdale it looked very NW and no one was on the plane. No doubt that was only temporary but we made the split second decision to go to PW on the high tide. The direction was quite W but looked pretty smooth, wrong angle for the causeway. Got my peak speed in front of the 5 mile carpark where I hit this smooth section in a strong gust. Great sail in gusty wind.
