Mortimer Bay, TAS, AU  (off South Arm Rd)  Squeezed in an hour before dark in a nice warm breeze and some chop with Artis also out enjoying the conditions. Was high tide so sailed right off the beach 10m from the car.  Despite over 1 NM of beach my fin confirmed that the solitary submerged log stuck in the sand is still thereSmile! iSonic 90, Gator 6.5, MXR 24.

Sounds like your turning into a nocturnal sailor now Tim. I wonder what it's like sailing with a light on your helmet in the darkUndecided

A headlight may have been useful for my last 2 sessions as both times it was choppy and it got too dark see the waves. I think moonlight is best for night sailing, though, it shows the water profile much better. Just need to stay focused when out alone in the dark and not let the mind wonder too much and then it is all okSmile
