Nice session with on and off SE 10 to 25 finished with a pretty intensive damage to the board. While gybing front foot strap let go. At first i thought the screw let go, just to find out the whole strap insert got ripped off the board :(

board - iSonic 107

sail - MS TR9 6.3

fin - Vector Volt 38

Kalmus, Cape Cod. Freestyle session in up & down winds. So far this spring, the wind never seems to remain stable for more than an hour or so. Had fun after rigging bigger, until I wanted to show Martin the Gecko loop. Did not get the nose into the water, but did get catapulted with the front foot still in the strap, which stretched a few tendons just a bit too much. That ended the day, and will require some rest days. Report at http://boardsurfr.blogspot.com/2016/05/twisted.html

Bart, congrats on the Alpha PB! Bummer on the foot strap. When you get the board fixed, I am very curious to know how it was repaired. Maybe you would post back on this session when the board is repaired? I also have an iSonic 107 but can't sail it as hard as you do. Thanks.

Al, good numbers again. Appears you are well tuned Smile

Bart, Nice Alpha.

I am using http://www.boardlady.com/index.htm  to fix soft spots on my iSonic boards.

And material from: http://www.fiberglasssupply.com/Product_Catalog/product_catalog.html

Barton, thanks. I like the sport, and enjoy the process.

Eva, the boardlady rocks!!! Must read everything on her web site for any beginner or advanced board repairs. And she is into gps speedsurfing too.
