That green island reef flat is my new favourite place! Good day. 5.8, 80 isonic, 23. For most of the day Borrowed cams 6.4 which helped bump up a few knots! Sailed with kel and cam. 🤘

Green Island, QLD, AU SSE-SE20-28 knots .

Seas rough +++ .Gear Iso 80 Tribal SW 25 RSR E 7 6.4m2.

Forecast looked great a week out so rearranged work to get to the island for the afternoon session .

We had a window of ~ 1 hr between 130-230 as the tide was coming in so we had to fit lots in .

Couldnt get any real speed today -another 2-3 knots wind would have made all the difference .

Was a solid 30 knots  as on the jetty as we were leaving but as always on Green Island as the tide comes in ,the wind picks up & the water gets intolerably rough .

Had a moment today during a NM run when the front foot slipped out of the strap resulting in a God awful crash & a nose ding Yellon the board but thankfully no other damage ...

Sailed with Lach & Kel -they both sailed really well CoolSmile

Green Island, QLD.

Headed to the island with hopes of first place today, but the wind didn't quite come in as expected.

Still had a ball sailing with Cam and Loch on a work day so cant complain!

Used my SS W49, Overdrive 6.2 and Speed Weed 23Cool

Port Douglas, QLD, AU

Finally I have a GPS unit that I can rely on.  Picked up three BGT31 units and this was the first outing.  Thanks to Kelly for checking the settings.  Finally some good wind!  Ed and I spent a good couple of hours down at Four Mile Beach on a grey old day.  I really need some good weeks of wind to get myself back in my game.  Only 5 sails in two months - not good enough.  Great to be out there again.  Select Slalom fin 41cm AtomiQ 120 litre and Neil Pryde Fusion 7.2m.  Need more Time On Water.  Thanks heaps to Ed for motivation and support.

Port Douglas, QLD, AU Quick sail after a hard days work..had a big forcast but was standing on beach after 3 o'clock with not much wind ..Rigged 7.7m Neil Pryde on 97lt Isonic..by the time i hit the water there was enough wind to blow a dog off its chain..Did 2hrs a bit over powered with sail cranked down to the max..Have had a shagged shoulder which i have been nursing for over 12 months it started to give me some grief while blasting out wide  in a very solid 20kts  and a lumpy sea where the' big sharks roam', i started to have a bit of a sook to myself and took my mind off the job for a very breif moment and got spat over the front ...Got my first ding in new board.. there was a time when i would of been most upset..But now i don't really give a shit as i know these boards are here for a good time not a long time...Went back to beach moved mast back a bit and locked in for the rest of the session.. Was hoping for a few more kms but the sun went down..Andrew came out for a blast and did well running a 7.2 m rig on 120 lt free ride board.. Another day in Paradise..Cheers ED..

Nice effort lads. Great to see you back on the water Andrew. You'll never need an excuse whilst you have Ed on your tail, pushing you out onto the water.

Big congratulations on the pb's Andrew and Lockie.

Andrew those numbers look pretty good for your second posting...only a couple behind Sir Edward in

the 2 sec's and 5 x 10 so great going. Appears the new hip/hips are coping..excellent.

Eddy....liked your write up specially the part about boards being around for a good time not a long time!!

Cool
