Mark Hayford (6908km): A short early evening sail with Pete C. We arrived about 4pm, it was p**sing down and the wind vanished. We waited an hour or and luckily the wind returned, 15k gusting nearly 20k dead west. 7.8m was a bit to small most of the time, but the big iS130 was perfect for the gusty conditions. After I de-rigged and got changed, the wind picked up to 20/25k, typical :) was fun IS130, north warp 7.8m and f-hot 46cm. |
