Primbee.  Fanatic Falcon 80, Project Black Weeds Speed 25, NP RSS 5.8 but quickly realised the bottom batten was broken at the cam so switched to a Aerotech Charge 5.8 Wave sail.  Wild!  epic gusts, airborn spray.  Not ideal to have an oversized wave sail with the draft moving around wildly.  Quite happy just to do a few laps to say I was there!  The notion of bearing away was utterly terrifying!

Primbee, NSW, AU

Late sail today, couldn't get out in the big blast earlier in the day but still a good little session all alone from 4 till dark. Patchy breeze with a few good gusts and some big shifts in the direction. Tried a few longer runs for a NM but couldn't get wind for the whole run. Maybe the slalom board would have been a better choice for the lulls but the speed board was still happily motoring along most of the time.

6.4 Evo7, Speed board Neil, 20cm 40 degree fin.

Primbee, NSW, AU. AB 54 Slalom 78L, BP 23WS, F2 Thommen Sputnik 270, Makani mod 24 wf, Loft wave 5.2m, SV 5.6OD.

Great to finally get some decent wind on a weekend with no interruptions from work (condolences Stu and any other workersCry). Firstly top effort to Tex and Tezza for your working bee efforts cleaning up the area yesterday. An honourable mention goes to the Nudist for finally selling the Speedster after all these years. Stoked to finally use the patched up F2 Sputnik, it went a lot better than I expected and even went faster than the AB.

Primbee, NSW, AU Westerly - up to 45 knots!

Difficult sailing conditions but still a lot of fun. Some ballistic wind at times - sheeting white water! A fair bit of water meant pretty choppy water.

A good turnout of sailors.

First out on the speed board then swapped over to the iS80 after lunch. The iS80 was a better board for the conditions.
