Budgewoi Lake, Nsw, AU

Ever had one of those days, this just completes todays schamozzle!!!!!! Got to Budgie with wind looking light and gusty. Royce helped me with my elbows, thanks. Rigged 7.0. Just as I went to put big toe in wind went OTT. de-rigged 7.0 and rigged 6.4.

Discovered small tear in middle panel, taped that up. Downhauling sail heard horrible cracking noises from mast, pulled out and ferrule part of mast bottom had started to be pulled up into mast top. Fark, started swearing. Wind still strong.

I remembered I hadnt charged my GPS from Saturday, double fark. Greg came in, said it was cranking. He lent me his second GPS with my SD card in it. Derigged the 6.4. Proceeded to rig 5.8. Mick turned up and did a quick charge on my GPS. Swapped over cards, all sweet. Or so I thought.

Finished rigging 5.8. Rick had come in and told me he got 43 knots. I stepped into the water and my adj outhaul came undone. Rick helped me fix that. By this time I was swearing like a trooper. As Mick and I went out the wind dropped, triple fark. Still we got a few powered runs and couple of bearaways up the top. Great conditions but so underpowered. Wind continued to die so we made the trip back. De-rigged, did the drive down the M1.

Got a beer and put SD card in puter, let KA72 do its thing and it has one SBN file with 0.02 ks on it and thats it. I think Ill write today off to experience.

Had a few mid to high 34's after all that, whatever!!!!!

Yeah, all good, thanks for the comments. Its no big deal, just one of those days. It was still fun, windsurfing is the best sport. Even missing out on the good wind I had fun. Mick and I had fun together and Millsy used us as gybe marks seeing he was on a 7.1.

No sheep stations here!! Disappointed for you Ricardo, you were going fricken hard. Scared Byron.
