Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

Isonic 107, 6.7 Overdrive 37 alloy fin.

Looked at my Gps logit after sailing while I was having a yap with Freddy and it had given me a whole bunch of Green Island type numbers. I said to Fred I'll  believe them when I see them later.

In the past the logit numbers have been close to the Canmore, don't  know what happened this time.😯😕😊

Day cleared up so I thought I might go out and have a look.

Peter had just finished sailing when I arrived .....had a bit of a gas bag

as I set up and he qouted me a couple of numbers from his gps that he was

not convinced were correct!  Sailed for about 1.25 hours and was quite enough.

Noticed another split in my sail as I was washing it down. Wind seemed consistant

and enjoyed myself.

Early knock off from work for a midweek sail, arrived to the back end of a rain squall and 10knt breeze. As the sun came out, it settled to gusty 20-25kts, started fairly choppy and flattened a bit on the last of the tide. CA58, Ezzy lion 6.5, Sting 34 then Tribal SW25 at the end to finally crack the 30 barrier. A few close calls but great fun. Shame you were parking ships Phil!

Green Island, QLD, AU

Fun day at the island with Cam, Billy, Locky, Conner and Slowboat!

Looked a bit dodgy when we were rigging up, but the wind came in a bit more as the day progressed.

Nice 20ish and flat enough at the top of the island.

Used Isonic 80, Overdrive 7.0 and Tribal Speed Weed 27Cool

Cooks calling, more to follow....

Cook called, I obeyed and promtly fell asleep afterwards...ooops. Certainly nothing to complain about. the last 3-4 hrs of the arvo were sensational. Boxy has really come on leaps and bounds, using a borrowed harness from Kel. Almost made it into the rear footstraps, just had to conquer the fear of going over that handle bars. Well done mate. When you come home we will continue the journey.

Used iS90, 6.5 T4, 36 Tribal Mk1 - I LOVE THIS FIN.

Firie Bob & Freddo, thank you. Was a great day..as usual. Almost let the crappy weather at lunch time beat us and thought about taking the early boat home. But sanity prevailed and we stuck at it. Boxy cracked on all afternoon and had a great day. I have finally given my HSM 7.3 the bird and its currently looking for a new home. I just cant find the love for it. Changed down to my 6.5 T4 and was under done to comfortable, but was never pushed. Loved the runs across the top of the island. All up, a really enjoyable session.

Great job team-big congratulations Billy !! & a fine Captain's knock Kel .We were lucky enough to have windsurf royalty come & sail with us yesterday -thanks Slowie for a master class on borrowed gear !!Surprised

Found some great water today on the South Eastern Reef margin between breaking waves & knarly looking rocky outcrops -tricky when you're sailing at 35+knots into the sun Foot in mouth but some really smooth patches -Give me more ....

We've had a great season this year -let's hope there's some more  wind to come .

Lookng forward to hosting you next year Hardie !!CoolSmile

Great to sail with you blokes last week! Thanks Cam for loaning me your toys and suggesting the GI eject button from the family holiday. Good fun burning around all over the reef with you and Kel. We were all very similar in speed. Not used to sailing in boardies and getting cooked at this time of the year. Nice to get back there after 7 years. Good to see Locky again, and to meet Billy and Connor. Top day.
