great sail northerly really starting to honk in then.......it went away. Still had a few more runs left in me but was not to be. Guys with bigger gear appeared to be having fun. No complaints, not bad for a Wednesday.

A late afterwork NEer. Glynn and Bisek were well powered up on their 7s when I arrived but unfortuneately the wind eased as I hit the water, and I was under sailed, boarded and fined. Can't complain, it was better than work.

Got down to Lota to find my boom feeling very loose turns out the boom head collar was broken on one side this meant either sail back to Wello then have to walk up through the low tide mud to change booms then back or just risk it so I took the chance and it lasted the session but I just took it easy and the water was flat which helped.
Joined by Bisic today welcome back mate you were going good after your winter hibernation can't blame you as the winter winds were shit.
Plenty were going out as I came in and the wind was dying out as well.
