2769 days ago Morning session at Barnstable Harbor. Wind meter showed averages in the mid to high teens gusting into mid-20s, actual wind a few miles higher. Warp 71, Matrix 7.5 ... how I wished Boro had forgotten his gear here! Had a hard time getting comfortable on the Warp (as usual), and the sail felt sooo unstable after the Loft 7.8. Even the fin felt inferior - must be a mental thing since it was exactly the same fin, a BP WS 38. Or maybe the chop was a bit higher. Hit a lucky gust at the right spot when the wind picked up at the end of the session, saw 31 on the screen, quite happy about that for this gear combo. I stopped right afterwards, though, since the tide was getting low and I was the only one on the water. Good to get wet again after a 10 day break!

First time this year on full formula gear........that's unheard of!! Its already end of September!!
First time on new sail.........felt super great!!
First time in my long windsurfing career i sailed totaly mirror like water. Not sure what was the cause of it, but i believe it had to do with the very light cool N breeze that didn't touch the surface of still warm water. The feeling was unreal!!! Effortless!! Just like flying!! Now i know why foils are getting so popular.
First time there were 3 other formula sailors sailing Nini at the same time........all of us from CT!!!
board: F167
sail: NP EVO8 11.0
fin: Kashy 70
