South Fremantle, WA

20 to 24 knots. Even the FSW is hard work once the wind gets over 20 knots at South Beach - the waves get too big and too close together to go fast.

Good exercise though Smile

Peli pt after worker. 2hrs on the water from 5-7. Man that feeels goooooood. Still a bit sore after yesterday's session, but gave it the effort it deserved.

Bit of delemma unfolded near dark as one guy had apparently busted a few ribs and was just floating out there. Luckily another sailor, Daniel, had stopped to help him. Sailed down to check if they had help and there were a couple of sea rescue boats and the RAC chopper overhead, so checked if they were being helped out and sailed back upwind. Police boats followed as I headed back in. I hope everyone got back safely - and without serious injury.

Another great day on the water and no holes in the feet yet. It seems my immune system and I are finally getting along. Windsurfing. It's the best.

Peel Inlet, WA, AU

Wind wasnt really strong today but still great to be at Liptons, sure is nice to Gybe in the flat water. The usual friendly crew out. Witnessed Doddi having a close encounter of the bad kind with something that sent his arms, legs and everything else flying, major stack Doddi!

Good DaySmile

Melville - IS107, Techtonics 36, R2 6.2.  Arrived when the wind looked strong, and so rigged small the sail.  Truly surprised that I could overtake people that I know is similar ability on their much larger sail.

Watermans, 5.8 wave panther, kombat 79l. After work Plan F for fun, good time, was worried that the 5.8 was a bit big after rigging it but actually was great. If anything a little more would have been good. The wind was a little patchy but thats being fussy. A couple of little bump and jumps and some nice fun turning on the outside faces. One other sailer and a few swimmers, no snakes seen which was good. Most of the time had the bay to myself so fitted my not looking before turning style well.

Looks like you had some fun out there today. Do you drive to the beach or walk?

Nice one Lunny!! Wish I could have joined you down there. Sadly the drive from work at 3:30 makes the idea less inviting. Great numbers! Cool

Cheers Jake. Pretty flash numbers yourself on the riverLaughing Lucky the guy with the injury had people looking out for him, not a good place to be when youre broken!

Yeah, he was miles downwind, only a few hundred metres from the freeway. That upwind leg back to base was killer!

Top session Lunny! Looks like you were going for all categories today. You should have been at Coodanup - you might have been in the running for one of Fangy's trophies.

Jake - amazing how similar your numbers (aside from the distance) considering you were sailing on different bodies of water

Great work on the alpha and nm guys - you gained 12 points and we moved one place up the ladder.

Jake, Was it a windsurfer who was injured?

Anita - from what I gather, yeah. A guy called Gareth. He must have been in some real pain to not be able to get back up

GS - efficiency is the key. Bigger is not always faster.

Great sessions lads. Couldn't get out myself. Looks like I missed out on another good sailing day. Well done.
