Nice to have a sail on a Friday with a few of the crew, wind did not really crank in and direction was not ideal.  Still sunny and planning happy days!

Saw a bit of the bay today.

Got outta work early - on the water about 3.30. Few runs out and back along the bank but the wind was too north. So I followed a board over to Lota creek and found Chriso there. Not much wind over there so decided to head back.

Struggled to point up enough and took 3 runs back and forward to get back.

Than sailed over to manly a couple of times and than just stuck between Wello and the markers.

Was having a blast until on my way out again my boom snapped at the mast and folded back and snapped at the clew. Was about 500 meters out so was a bit of a job getting back in.

2nd alloy mast I have broken in 4 years so time to fork out for a carbon one - yes John I know you told me so 2 weeks ago but I'm a slow learner!!

Thanks in advance to Chriso for hooking me up with a boom for tomorrow - than its spend some money next week.

Flat water "shreaded" by what seemed to be 100's of kiters. Welcome to the Gold Coast!!!

Wellington Point, QLD, AU, Falcon 104, Loft 6.3 and a Viper fin 34cm. Sadly the wind I rigged for did not come. I had a good run down to Lota, but had difficulties getting back. Thanks Trev for the carpark. It is becoming like weekend every day now always packed.
