Sanctuary Point, NSW, AU

JP60, OD5.6, keef weedie, then KA 5.0

Had a couple of sips of Keef's PB juice to get things ramped up but I didnt really find a settled-in feeling, tried changing down sail and smaller fin, and went up to the weed beds for a few runs.

Beautiful hot and windy day. Good to see a big crowd, including those doing this weekends freerace, and Craig Cole after months off the water in the outback, then TP in full uniform, and unfortunately Tricky took a big fin cut on leg.

PD 100 Slalom / R5 OD 5.6 / Vectra Weedy 27

Big NE today with gusts up to 30 knots. Couple of bad stacks left me feeling sorry for myself and hence only a small distance travelled. Bit of a sore wrist after it absorbed my full weight into my boom after a horrible catipult. Dr Ian said to keep it compressed and have plenty of ice in my spiced rum tonight (or something like that).

Awesome to see the GBs in full power today - especially after our very own Craig Cole returned with the clubhouse on pole position. Bloody awesome effort for someone who hasn't sailed for over six months too!

Hoping tomorrow delivers for the slalom and GPS racing and we see more sights like Byron and Adrian who were absolutely blasting today.

Started on the CA55 with a 24 Delta, topped out at 32 and struggled to Gybe.

Borrowed a fin from Craig and quickly found 36kts and locked my Gybes back in.

4 Weeks ago I threatened to sell this board because I couldn't gybe it Wink

Then Craig and the Captain thought it'd be funny to put my 97kg arse on a 77L Carbon Art Slalom Ski....which I consequently came off at 37knots....feeeling sore

Ben, a 26.5 alpha is arguably something that I can only dream of mate. Bloody good work on a simply awesome U-turn. Hope the arm pit doesn't sting for too long.
