Morning sail with the tide. 20-25knts when rigging, then dropped to 10-20 once I had carried my high wind gear down the beach. Should have seen that one coming. Grabbed a floaty board and got a reasonable sail in, before the wind dropped out to 10knts. 5.9 Koyote, 112L FSW.

Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

Noice little sail at the very end of our season up here in FNQ. Grabbed Freddo and our two new lads Benny and Johnny on my way through. Max 15 knts for most of the afternoon and really died off just after low tide which meant there really wasnt any hard runs downwind to be had, especally overpowered ones. Freddy was dancing out the back on the horizon a few times trying to find the best of the wind.  Just great to get a sail in.

Holloways with Billy,Johnny and Bennie. With some storm cloulds hanging around wasn't sure if an early sail or late sail was the go....went with the early one and was quite good although started dropping out a bit towards the end...then as cleaning up come in again for a while ...think we got the best of it.

Although the wind wasn't that strong the water for Holloways was reasonablly flat and the sail enjoyable.

Billy did not fall off for the entire session..well done ....although I did have to check the water depth a couple of times!!

Johnny used a gps for the first time and had a max. speed reading of 16.8 .....nice one.Cool
