Melville Beach, WA

Good to catch up with the locals, a solid 25 knots of wind out in the middle Cool

A bit too choppy around the 3/4 mark during the NM to keep the little fin in the water, but good fun Laughing

Another change in scenery. Cloud came in and there was a drizzle of rain, shame to lose the aqua blue colour in the bay. Best spot was Hansen Bay. I started out further towards the boat moorings where it was pretty rough but luckily i saw a familiar North Warp sail further toward Hansen Bay so i tacked up to see Isaac who let me know the best place to be. Very memorable stop over at the island with a couple of seals hanging around but one very curious young one wanting to check us out. Great Day

Went for a few downwinders when there was less traffic on the sandbank with the 6.2 then changed down to the 5.5 when the wind picked up. Went for a hour and was hard work in the gusty and choppy conditions. was hoping for a NM PB but it was not to be. Must have missed you JJ.

Fun session at Liptons, wind started to crank in later in the day, good to catch up with Stroppo on the water this time. Was great to sail with a few of the MM as well everyone was pushing for the 40 alas looks like I'll have to hit Liptons once again.Money mouth

Pelican Point, WA, AU 96 Supercross 5.5 Gator 27 SS. Very quick session after work as I had to go out for dinner. Gusts were pretty crazy at times and the water state was interesting to say the least. Went for a chop hop and back foot popped out on landing managed to hold onto a spin out with only the front foot on the board until hit by larger gust and catapult. Darryl was witness to it, at least it gave him a laugh.Laughing

Early (until 4pm) crack at Liptons, but spat the dummy when I saw it was blowing 25-30 on the coast and only 18-23 there. Raced up to Safety Bay to meet a friend.

Wind was pretty strong for a while and was nicely lit on the 5.7. As the day got on, the start of the run had a little bit of chop to dodge, but nothing too sinister. The same couldn't be said for anywhere outside of the pond. I sailed out a few times into the bay and it was hairy out there - breaking swells left, right and center. Really had to pick the gybe spot perfectly, or else be fodder in the soup bowl. In the end I was just dumping the rig after the run and flipping the rig in the water. My friend had a big off on his 4.2 out the back and now has a sprained wrist! Properly windy.

I can pretty much can measure the enjoyment of the day by the sail size - any day I get to be out on the 5.7 must be a good one Cool And, this is my best beaver session to date, so whilst the magic 40 eludes me still, I gotta be happy. Glad I made the call, even if Liptons did pick up in the end.

Super fun. Well, all except seeing that fin near the start of the run...hmmm

Pelican Point - 100/6 then 115/6m - tried to focus on gybing, but the conditions at Pelican Point were quite unfriendly. Gusty, choppy, shallow...
Tried a 90s slalom board - scary as - even the sligtest chop would throw it off balance. Went straight into a small wave and over the handlebars, so left that for some future visit to Peel Inlet.

Still decided to post the results - may improve the team averages Wink

Not sure why no alpha's are recorded.  Shoould have been.  Will work on it today again on Patrick's big Patrik board.

A nice hour Ken. Congratulations Smile

Big congratulations JJ on the 20k milestone. Nice river speed too. Still rocking that M91😎. Another PB ken! You seemed to have unlocked your speed potential...keep going. Good session as usual Jake. SB sounds like quite a challenge yesterday. Hey nick, good to see you took it easy on your knees smashing out 139km. Can't wait to see when you're fit and have a crack at distance.

Nice one Snaky, you cld have done close to similar at Liptons I think, I gave up eventually on the 47, but the wind came back stronger later. .. not bad youngster, dont worry about the 40, there was prob a reason for it, you better wiz a safe 39.5 Cool

Hi JJ, long time no see, you shld come down sometime Tongue out

Boz, you are a funny man, and you sail like a machine Cool, nice to meet you

Super beaver speeds Jake. It must have been rough if you were abandoning the gybes. Flipping in the water after the run is usually what I do.

Nice one Cannonball! The alphas are getting slicker! Good river speed for the 2 sec too.

And the first half of the session? I can join your sessions for you if you were using a GT31 or you can choose the best numbers from both and add the distance
