gusty NE building to 20-25

I had to be off the water early, so I went out on the big gear. The wind kept building and by the time I had to be off the water, the iSonic 90 and 6.3 would have been the setup of choice.

I had a 'friendly' exchange with a couple of simple yet angry fisherman. Also, obviously sail gives way to power on Botany Bay.

Busy busy day, Mike and I got abused by fishermen in a tinnie cause they dropped anchor in our gybe spot and proceeded to cast at us. Funny as actually.

Heaps out, Malcolm Turnbull, Pauline Hanson, Bill Shorten, Eddie O'Beid was on day release so he came down, Derryn Hinch was going great guns down the runway. Sweet sesh, looking sweet out there. Everything is sweet.Cut vomit

Kurnell, NSW, AU. ne 25+ kts,    a quick sail in the afternoon , 4ft wind chop power boat wakes made for very trying session all most as much air time as the kites . great to sail with the crew from the SHIRE .   HAPPY NEW YEAR.!!!!!!

Good fun arvo. I went out by myself first and it was great fanging around with nobody to worry about. Pugs and Millsy came out then Mick a bit later and it was easy sailing. The Froth was looking especially smooth today. Then half the world later but by then Id had my fun. Just time your run when everyone else is elsewhere. Long runs, wind was a bit gusty but compared to Lake Dangerous its paradise and bloody flat water. No wind waster today.

And no traffic on M1 which was a very pleasant surprise.

Compared to what GW60 gave me Im a bit pissed off. 2 second was 37.49 and 5 x 10 was 35.78. Thats a big difference. Numbers from GT31.
