Great afternoon on the water with the loocal people. Started out well felt great, laying down some nice gybes in the shallows and jumps out the back.
30Km in and Boom Boom Break the Boom..150m out past the low water mark and no navy rescue team in sight. Lucky I was up wind, managed to breast stroke and drag my board back to the shallows. Big thanks to Steve who loaned me a boom to get back on the water.
Venture up the weed beds and scored a few good gust. Had a shot at NM across the chop.

Beautiful day at botany, really enjoyed the windsurfing here today. Got there at midday day and wind already looking good. Decided to go with the 6.2 and pleased I did, a few underpowered moments but most of the time was well powered. Water nice and clear and beautiful blue sunny day to be on the water.
Thanks to Nige for the quick guide to the sailing area, then also for his assistance from beach on how best to extract myself from the shark nets, first run back in I dropped into the water when wind ran out, then tried to waterstart and straight into nets and mast and board stuck in the webbing. Talk about embarassing  thank god Craig Cole wasnt there to see that.
Great to sail with Nige and Andrew from the DD's and then Matt from South Coast team and Dannie arrived. Fun day, will try this sailing spot again.
